Goldfinch, Women Who Write’s annual literary journal, is comprised of a juried selection of member-authored works, including prose and poetry.
 

Goldfinch retains one-time publication rights for all works accepted. The author retains all other rights. Goldfinch is copyright as a collective work by Women Who Write, Inc.

Greetings! I am happy to announce that the submission process to our literary journal, Goldfinch, is now open. Each member of Women Who Write is welcome to submit up to two Prose and two Poetry pieces to be considered for publication in Goldfinch, Vol. 26.

 

The dates for submissions are as follows:

January 24 – First day for submissions

February 28 – Deadline for submissions

April 2 – Acceptance notifications sent out.

TBA – The Goldfinch launch.

 

I hope to see many new and long-standing members take advantage of this opportunity. As you may know, being published in Goldfinch makes you a published author, and isn’t that what we all strive for? Looking forward to reading all your submissions!

These guidelines also have been discussed in a recorded Zoom meeting featuring past Goldfinch editors who have been through both sides of this process.
