VIRTUAL WRITERS' CONFERENCE: Saturday, May 15, 2021
ABOUT THIS YEAR’S CONFERENCE
Welcome! Women Who Write’s 10th Annual Conference will be held virtually on May 15, 2021. We have a great line-up of quality speakers to grow our writing skills and knowledge. Scroll below to see all of our amazing talks and workshops that will be presented.
The Membership Advantage: Becoming a Women Who Write member while signing up for the conference offers benefits throughout the year, including savings on conference registration and critiques.
We will have a total of 11 speakers, most of whom will have pre-recorded their presentations. The good news this year, is that you may view ALL presentations instead of only selecting a few.
The pre-recorded presentations will be available to registered attendees 2 weeks prior to the conference and 2 weeks following the conference. May 15th's live talks will be recorded and available for 2 weeks following the conference. Q&A Breakouts Sessions will not be recorded and therefore only available on May 15th at their scheduled times.
On Saturday, May 15, we will have:
A live presentation by Michael Slackman, Senior Editor at The New York Times
A character workshop with author Julia Markus
Women Who Write member, Doris Parmett will speak about “Why Bother With Research?”
Q&A discussions with our editors, agents, authors, and poet
