Crimson Cadence: Prose, Poetry, and Community!

Women Who Write invites you  for an afternoon dedicated to the art of storytelling and the strength of our creative community at Watchung Arts Center,  18 Stirling Rd., Watchung NJ,  on Sunday, February 22nd, at 2 pm.

Join us to experience the depth of local voices, accompanied by gourmet treats, refreshments, and a shared passion for the written word.

The Open Mic: Readers are invited to share 4 minutes of original work. Your piece does not need to follow a Valentine’s theme; we welcome your voice on any subject that moves you.

New Segment: "Jewel on Paper" For those who want to dip their toes into the craft, we are introducing a 5-minute guided writing exercise. Using a provided prompt, this segment is perfect for non-writers or anyone curious to see where the pen takes them in a brief, supportive atmosphere.

The Atmosphere This gathering is open to all—bring your significant others, the friends you wish to share a meaningful experience with, or simply join us as an audience member. To reflect the warmth of the season, we encourage everyone to wear their favorite shades of red, pink, or white.
