Moving Words: A Project Between Writers and Filmmakers by Paul Rabinowitz
Join ARTS By The People's Executive Director Paul Rabinowitz as he speaks about Moving Words and showcases a few of his favorite past films.
Moving Words is an ARTS By The People project that opens a dialogue between writers and filmmakers, intersecting voices of diverse backgrounds and all ages. Each year 10 writers (chosen through submission) will have their work made into a short, experimental film crafted by student film makers who are inspired by the writer's work. The 10 films will be premiered at a local film festival with the filmmakers, coordinators and writers all in attendance. More about Moving Words here: https://www.artsbythepeople.org/movingwords

PART 1: Learn to Love Writing Your Synopsis - Writing a book is a monumental task. Why, then, should we be forced to boil those hundreds of pages down to a few pages, or worse, a few paragraphs? Understanding the value of a synopsis is the first step to learning to love your synopsis. Understanding that a synopsis is just another way of telling your story will turn your synopsis into your best tool—and your best friend.
